It was out of our hands whether we signed Diouff, but if enough fuss is made, the club can be encouraged to change their minds.
I don't have all this twitter stuff, but I hope Gold's account is crashing with so many tweets screaming No thanks.

85% voted for the move, maybe not thinking about things like this happening, but it still gave the owners the majority the needed to push it through.

I know we'll share it, but I don't want to share it with another football club. European finals, OK, but not for somone else to have it for home games. Rugby, Boxing, cricket, out of season, no problem, but no other football residencies but us.
We let Charlton share Upton Park for a while, but they didn't register as any mind of rival to me and most others, but I wouldn't even want a non-rival team sharing now, purely because of the wear and tear of having two seasons played in one.

That's just dividing 180,000 by 25 = 7,200 per game. Course they can shift more into friendlies and cups but the sheer numbers means that they will also hav to give thousands of seats up fr every game.

By the way, I found out this week that part of spurs planning permission means they have to give away 180,000 tickets to the local community a season. So even though their capacity is going to be bigger than arsenals (though possibly smaller than Chelsea's and definitely smaller than ours when we expand further) there will be over 7000 freebies at every game.

Have anyone ever heard about this corporate 'friendship' with Chelsea? Of course it's bollocks but Brady has to provide cover for herself in the event that Chelsea do share. The big difference between spurs and Chelsea isn't that we like one and don't the other, it's that one needs a ground for three years and the other for one. That makes the effective cost to the E20 LLP £3.75 mil per season (7.5+3*1.25) rather than £8.75 mil (7.5+1.25). I suggest that the LLDC have informed the club that this is possible and we have no say other than to complain.

Gavros was also repeatedly telling this board that we had to give away anything between 50k and 100k tickets to locals every season so I'll take his view with a pinch of salt.
As I said, not being an expert on contract law, I don't know whether we do or don't have an effective veto. As I also said, if we do, we should use it, if we don't, then the board have sold us down the river.

The latest ruse by Dick Hunt is to try to prove that a veto is effective given that both clubs would play in European competition an the turnaround time between events would not enough to accommodate both clubs. That's how desperate they are trying to prove a veto. It isn't going to work of course because there is no veto.
Once again, there is no veto.
